Parkour.net information available again

PostPosted on Sun Mar 15, 2009 12:03 pm

Just a quick message to say that the old Parkour.net forums are available once more in read-only format.

There is a lot of useful information in those discussions, so if you have a spare minute and haven't read through them before I think there are many worse things you could do than pick a thread and read it.

Thanks for the heads up Dave. The older forums archive also appears to be back up as well (read only). Link: parkour.net archives

It's good to see the information from the parkour.net forums is available again. Perhaps one day we'll see it restored to a fully functional international parkour forum.

Jerome took it down after JF Belle sent him an e-mail, the gist of which was that he didn't want people using David's name and image if he couldn't be sure they were using them accurately (i.e. under his control).

The name 'parkour' is also part of the issue, since that was the name he took for his own discipline after the original 'art du deplacement' group split up. It's slightly harder to filter out the name and web address of the website.
