Hey. New to the sheffield scene

PostPosted on Sun Feb 15, 2009 2:39 am

Hey guys.

Moved to sheff for Uni (go to hallam btw) and really wanna get back in to pk. I know that this is the kinda post that belongs in the intro thread, but i also know that the only people who ever read those threads are the people introducing themselves so thought i would say hi here.

So before this thread get deleted which im sure it will (been an admin on a couple of forum. i know i would delete it. lol) i would just like to find out where a couple of hotspots are. as of yet i know nowhere. i live at the forge, just next to the blades ground. any info would be wicked.

would also love to join in on any week day jams. weekends are out due to earning of the beer money :)

peace.

Best thing is probably to come to a saturday jam sometime and get some numbers off people who train in the week and ring around when you have no lessons. It's only dave who organises weekday jams via this site really.

Sure, done.

I'm out training in Sheffield most weekdays, although I don't often post because I'm out at slightly irregular times/places. Send me a PM or text sometime and we can meet up whenever you're free.

BTW, do you have a name?

Usually up by the Sheffield University English Department, not far from the Hallamshire Hospital.
